Pomelo Casa’s medium Lebrillo Bowl combines an 8-inch terracotta form with traditional Spanish bird-or-pomegranate motifs painted by hand in coral. Standing 3¾ inches high, it is deep enough for pasta, ramen, salads, snacks, or fruit, giving it a more substantial everyday role than the smaller serving bowls. The coral colorway brings warmth to the graphic folk pattern without limiting what can be served in it. Handmade and hand-painted in southern Spain, each piece varies subtly in brushwork and glaze.

“I like a bowl that lets dinner be dinner without requiring a formal place setting. This size is generous enough for the whole meal, and coral gives even something very simple a welcome sense of warmth.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Care & Ownership

Before first use, wash by hand in hot soapy water, rinse, and allow to air dry. The bowl is dishwasher safe, although alternating with hand washing will help protect the hand-finished glaze from the effects of constant machine washing. Microwave and refrigerator safe; do not use in the oven. Small differences in brushwork and glaze are natural to these handmade ceramics.

Maker / Heritage

Founded by interior designer Francesca de la Fuente, Pomelo Casa grew from the ceramics she knew while growing up in southern Spain. The collection is handmade and hand-painted in a small family-run workshop in Granada, using traditional Lebrillo motifs and techniques the maker traces back more than five centuries. Formed from terracotta clay and finished by hand, each piece carries the slight variations in brushwork and glaze that distinguish ceramics made this way.
