Lebrillo Hand-Painted Terracotta Mug in Coral by Pomelo Casa — 9 oz
Pomelo Casa’s Lebrillo Mug is a 9-ounce hand-painted terracotta mug decorated with traditional Spanish bird-or-pomegranate motifs in coral. At approximately 3¼ inches across and 3¾ inches high, it is scaled for a proper cup of coffee or tea without becoming cumbersome in the hand. The coral palette lends the folk pattern warmth and makes the mug cheerful enough to leave within reach rather than reserve for a matched service. Handmade and hand-painted in southern Spain, every piece varies subtly in brushwork and glaze.
“A morning cup does not need ceremony, but it benefits from an object you enjoy reaching for. Coral has just enough brightness to make the first coffee feel less automatic.”

Care & Ownership
Before first use, wash by hand in hot soapy water, rinse, and allow to air dry. The mug is dishwasher safe, although alternating with hand washing will help protect the hand-finished glaze from the effects of constant machine washing. Microwave and refrigerator safe; do not use in the oven. Small differences in brushwork and glaze are natural to these handmade ceramics.
Maker / Heritage
Founded by interior designer Francesca de la Fuente, Pomelo Casa grew from the ceramics she knew while growing up in southern Spain. The collection is handmade and hand-painted in a small family-run workshop in Granada, using traditional Lebrillo motifs and techniques the maker traces back more than five centuries. Formed from terracotta clay and finished by hand, each piece carries the slight variations in brushwork and glaze that distinguish ceramics made this way.
